The emphasis of our site is on the clients we serve, both residential and commercial, and our continuing development in the sustainable or green building arena. In brief, you should know the following about us: our company was established in 2006 and has been providing outstanding green building construction, sustainable products for green construction, and consulting services for both of the foregoing areas ever since. Our company is the only exclusively green builder of both residential and small commercial projects in the area.  Our customers particularly value the quality of the workmanship in each of our projects and marvel at our flexibility to adapt to a broad range of budgetary constraints. Our business has recently re-located to larger space which includes shop, office, client service, and showroom space at 103 Elwha Rd., Port Angeles, WA 98362.

Owners Philosophy

Werner and Tom are committed to the concept of utilizing the latest in sustainable or green building methods and materials to provide clients with an energy efficiency and healthier environment than ever before possible.  The way this is done is through the use of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), LOGIX brand Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified wood and lumber, and through the use of recycled and recycleable materials, and utilizing low or no VOC paints.

We are constantly researching improvements in materials and techniques which allow us to build at the highest levels of certification by Built Green organizations.  We are an Energy-star member and consider the various aspects of energy consumption in our efforts.  Energy efficiency is key as is the healthier environment provided through the use of low or non VOC materials and a whole house air exchange system.  The air exchanger system removes virtually all mold-carrying and allergen carrying spores from fresh air brought into the house, as well as reducing the levels of dust.  The energy efficiency is enhanced by the use of the SIPs in conjunction with radiant heat systems.

The superior quality of construction and the excellence of our interiors are unparalleled in the local market.  Our service standards are centered on our clients.  As a full-service builder and developer, we maintain contacts with real estate professionals, architects and designers, and even a local landscape group to provide the entire range of services from site selection through construction of your dream house or business/office building.

On our Products and Services page we will soon be listing all the products which we use and for which we are also distributors.  All these products can be purchased through Eco-Green Builders, Inc. and are also used by us on our jobs.  Various links are provided to allow customers to see the extensive use to which all the products are put in all phases of construction.
